  1. Turn your oven on to 325°F.
  2. Grease your cake pan with butter or oil.
  3. Mix butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Add one egg at a time, mixing each one in.
  5. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. In a cup, mix milk, Hennessy, and vanilla.
  7. Add a bit of flour mix, then a bit of milk mix.
  8. Keep doing this until all is mixed in.
  9. Stir gently until the batter is smooth.
  10. Pour it into the pan.
  11. Bake for 70–80 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Let it cool for 15 minutes, then take it out of the pan.
  13. Mix the glaze and pour it over the cake once it’s cool.
