Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, rinsed
  • 1 can 15 oz black beans, rinsed
  • 1 can 6 oz tomato paste
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A little olive oil
  • Chopped cilantro optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a big pot.
  • Add onion, garlic, and peppers. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add turkey. Cook until it turns brown.
  • Add spices, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  • Add tomatoes, beans, and tomato paste.
  • Pour in the chicken broth. Stir again.
  • Let it cook for 30 minutes on low heat.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot.

Notes

  1. Use lean turkey to make it healthier.
  2. Like it spicy? Add more chili powder.
