Blue Dog Soda Recipe
Blue Dog Soda is a colorful and delicious drink. It is famous for its special blue color and unique taste.
Ingredients
- Blue food coloring = 1–2 drops
- Granulated sugar = 1 cup
- Water = 2 cups
- Lemon juice = 4 tablespoons
- Lime juice = 4 tablespoons
- Natural blueberry flavor = 1 teaspoon
- Carbonated water = 4 cups
Instructions
- Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar fully dissolves into the water.
- Add lemon juice, lime juice, and blueberry flavor to syrup.
- Add 1–2 drops of blue food coloring for color.
- Remove the syrup from heat and let it cool completely.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer for smoothness.
- Pour the syrup into a pitcher and refrigerate until cold.
- Fill each glass halfway with carbonated water before serving.
- Add chilled syrup to the glass and stir gently.
- Add ice cubes and garnish with a lemon or lime slice.
