Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
Cook chicken in the pan until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add flour to the butter and whisk.
Slowly pour in chicken broth, stirring until the sauce thickens.
Add heavy cream and stir. Season with salt and pepper.
Shred the cooked chicken and add it back into the pan.
Move the chicken mix to a baking dish.
Place biscuit dough on top of the chicken mixture.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the biscuits.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until biscuits are golden and cooked through.
Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve hot.
