Ingredients
  

  • 6 big duros puffed wheat snacks
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1/4 cup pork skin chicharrón
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup jicama optional
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • A little salt
  • Chili flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Cook duros in hot oil until they puff up.
  • Put them on paper towels to dry.
  • Mix all the veggies in a bowl.
  • Add lime juice to the veggies.
  • Place the duro on a plate.
  • Add veggie mix on top.
  • Add pork skin and hot sauce.
  • Sprinkle a little salt and chili.
  • Eat right away for the best crunch.

Notes

  1. Use fresh veggies only.
  2. Add avocado for creamy flavor.
  3. Don’t put too much or it gets soggy.
  4. Serve as soon as you make it.
  5. Try fruit like mango for a sweet twist.
