Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup white wine

  • Flip shrimp and cook another 2 minutes until pink.
  • Remove shrimp from pan and set aside temporarily.

  • Sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant only.
  • Pour white wine into pan and let it bubble.
  • Add butter and swirl until completely melted smooth.
  • Return cooked shrimp to the creamy garlic sauce.
  • Add lemon juice and toss everything together gently.
  • Sprinkle fresh parsley and red pepper flakes evenly.
  • Serve immediately while hot for best flavor results.

Notes

  1. Don't overcook shrimp - they become rubbery and tough when overcooked.
  2. Use fresh garlic instead of pre-minced for better flavor intensity.
  3. Dry white wine works best; avoid sweet cooking wines completely.
  4. Pat shrimp dry before cooking to achieve perfect searing.
  5. Serve immediately to maintain optimal texture and temperature.
