Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless CHICKEN BREASTS
  • 1/2 cup SALSA VERDE
  • 4 slices PEPPER JACK CHEESE
  • 1 tbsp OLIVE OIL
  • 1 tsp CUMIN
  • 1 tsp GARLIC POWDER
  • 1/2 tsp SALT
  • 1/4 tsp BLACK PEPPER
  • 2 tbsp FRESH CILANTRO

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Chicken: Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Rub it with oil and dry spices.
  • Heat the Grill: Set your grill to medium-high heat. Let it get very hot first.
  • Sear the Meat: Place chicken on the hot grill grates. Cook for six minutes per side.
  • Add Salsa Verde: Brush a thick layer of salsa on top. Do this during the last minutes.
  • Melt the Cheese: Place a cheese slice on each breast. Close the grill lid for one minute.
  • Rest and Serve: Remove the chicken from the heat. Let it sit before you slice it.
