- 2 medium squid cleaned and cut
- 1/2 cup cucumber thin slices
- 1/4 cup red onion thin slices
- 1/4 cup carrots thin strips
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Boil water in a pot.
Put squid in the water for 1 minute.
Take it out and put it in ice water.
Drain and dry with a towel.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, vinegar, oil, and sugar.
Stir until sugar is mixed well.
Put squid, cucumber, onion, and carrots in a bowl.
Pour the dressing over everything and mix.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve.
- Do not cook squid too long, or it will be hard.
- Use fresh squid for the best taste.
- Let the salad chill for 15 minutes before eating.
- Add more vinegar or soy sauce if you like.
- If you like spicy food, add chili flakes.
