Ingredients

  • 1 bottle 750ml of Rose wine.
  • 1/2 cup of Pomegranate juice.
  • 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice.
  • 1/4 cup of superfine sugar.
  • 1/4 cup of Brandy.
  • 1/2 cup of fresh raspberries.
  • 1/2 cup of fresh strawberries.
  • 1/2 cup of red grapes.
  • 1 sliced plum or peach.
  • Ice cubes for serving.

Instructions

Prepare the Fruit

  • Wash all your fresh fruit carefully. Slice the strawberries into thin pieces. Cut the plum into small wedges. Keep the berries whole for texture.

Mix Liquid Base

  • Pour the Rose wine into the pitcher. Add the pomegranate juice next. Stir in the brandy slowly. This creates a strong flavor base.

Dissolve the Sugar

  • Add the superfine sugar to the wine. Use your long spoon to stir. Keep stirring until the sugar disappears. This makes the drink smooth.

Add Fresh Lemon

  • Squeeze fresh lemons for the juice. Pour the juice into the pitcher. This adds a nice zingy taste. It balances the sweet sugar.

Toss in Fruit

  • Drop the prepared fruit into the liquid. Add the raspberries and grapes last. They look like gems in the wine. Stir gently to mix them.

Chill the Mix

  • Place the pitcher in the fridge. Let it sit for two hours. This lets the flavors blend well. Cold sangria tastes much better.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Fill wine glasses with cold ice. Pour the sangria over the ice. Make sure each glass gets fruit. Serve it to your happy guests.

Notes

  • Use Good Wine: Pick a Rose you enjoy drinking alone.
  • Superfine Sugar: It dissolves much faster than regular sugar.
  • Cold Fruit: Use chilled fruit to keep it cool.
  • Fresh Juice: Always use fresh lemons, not bottled juice.
  • Wait Time: Let it sit for the best flavor.
  • Garnish: Add a sprig of mint for color.
  • Ice Late: Only add ice when serving. This prevents watering down the drink.
