Ingredients
  

  • 6 Cups Green Cabbage
  • 1 Cup Carrots
  • 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Celery Seed
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Shred your green cabbage into very thin strips. Use a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer. Place the cabbage into your large mixing bowl.
  • Grate your fresh carrots into small bits. Add the carrots to the bowl of cabbage. Toss them together so the colors mix well.
  • Grab a separate small bowl for the dressing. Pour in the mayo and the apple cider vinegar. Add the sugar and all your dry spices.
  • Whisk the dressing until it is very smooth. There should be no lumps of sugar left. Pour the dressing over the fresh vegetables now.
  • Use your large spoon to mix everything together. Make sure every bit of cabbage is wet. Cover the bowl and chill before you serve.

  • Use very cold cabbage for the best crunch.
  • Let the slaw sit for one hour before eating.
