Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Large bowl
  • Tongs
  • Small saucepan
  • Measuring cups

Ingredients

  • 2 Lbs Chicken Wings
  • 4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Honey
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Tsp Ginger
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  • Set your oven to 400 degrees now. Let it get nice and hot. Line your tray with parchment paper.
  • Pat the chicken wings with paper towels. They must be very dry to get crispy. Place them on the baking sheet.
  • Slide the tray into the hot oven. Bake them for about forty-five minutes. Flip them halfway through the cooking time.
  • Put butter and honey in the saucepan. Add the soy sauce and spices now. Simmer it on low heat until thick.
  • Put baked wings into a large bowl. Pour the warm glaze over the top. Toss them until every wing is coated.
  • Put wings back on the baking sheet. Bake for five more minutes. This makes the glaze extra sticky.

Notes

  • Always dry the chicken skin very well first.
  • Space the wings out on the baking sheet.
  • Use fresh ginger for a much better flavor.
  • Do not crowd the pan while baking them.
  • Let wings rest for two minutes before serving.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Watch the glaze closely so it does not burn.
