Boil large pot of salted water.
Cook ditalini according to package directions.
Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in large skillet.
Add Italian sausage and cook thoroughly.
Break into small pieces while cooking.
Add diced onion to sausage.
Cook until onion becomes translucent and soft.
Stir in minced garlic.
Cook for one minute until fragrant.
Pour crushed tomatoes into skillet.
Add basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
Simmer sauce for ten minutes.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Reduce heat to low setting.
Slowly add heavy cream while stirring continuously.
Add cooked ditalini pasta to sauce.
Toss everything together until well coated.
Stir in Parmesan cheese gradually.
Season with salt and pepper.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve immediately while hot.
