- 1 Cup All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
Get a large mixing bowl. Put the softened butter in the bowl. Mix the butter with both sugars very well.
Add the eggs to the butter mix. Pour the vanilla extract into the bowl. Beat everything until light and fluffy.
Whisk the dry ingredients in another bowl. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt together. Combine the dry and wet mixtures well.
Fold the chocolate chips into the dough. Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet. Leave some space between each cookie dough.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake the cookies for about ten minutes. Let them cool before serving them.
Remove the baking tray from the hot oven. Let them sit on the tray for five minutes. Transfer them to the wire rack to cool down.
- Always use softened butter to mix ingredients properly for the best cookie texture.
- Do not overmix the dough so your cookies remain soft and chewy inside.
- Keep enough space between the dough balls on your baking tray for even baking.
- Let the baked cookies cool on the sheet for five minutes before moving them.
- Store the cooled cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh and soft.
