Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the pasta until it’s soft but not mushy. Drain and set aside.
In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the flour and whisk for 1 minute.
Slowly add the milk and cream, stirring until smooth.
Let it cook for about 5 minutes until it thickens.
Add the shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese melts.
Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Add the cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and mix.
Pour everything into a greased baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with olive oil.
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top of the mac and cheese.
Bake in the oven for 20–25 minutes until the top is golden and crispy.
Garnish with fresh parsley (optional) before serving.
