Ingredients
  

  • cups all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Mix flour, baking soda, and salt together.
  • Cream butter with both sugars until fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla extract thoroughly.
  • Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients.
  • Fold in caramel pieces until evenly distributed.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto sheets.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges turn golden.
  • Sprinkle with sea salt while cookies are warm.
  • Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes
