Preheat oven to 350°F degrees.
Line baking pan with parchment paper.
Mix cake mix, butter, and one egg.
Press mixture into prepared baking pan.
Beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
Add melted butter to cream cheese mixture.
Beat in two eggs one at time.
Gradually mix in powdered sugar completely.
Stir in caramel sauce and vanilla extract.
Pour mixture over prepared crust evenly.
Sprinkle sea salt on top generously.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until set.
Cool completely before cutting into squares.
