Ingredients
  

  • 3 Lbs Sweet Potatoes
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 Cup Whole Milk
  • 3 Cloves Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tsp Fresh Thyme
  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 Tsp Nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Slice the Potatoes: Peel your potatoes first. Slice them into very thin rounds. Make sure they are even.
  • Make the Sauce: Grab your large bowl. Whisk cream, milk, and garlic. Add your salt and pepper now.
  • Layer the Potatoes: Grease your baking dish with butter. Place one layer of potatoes on bottom. Overlap them slightly.
  • Add the Cream: Pour some sauce over the first layer. Sprinkle a little bit of cheese. Repeat these layers.
  • Cover and Bake: Put foil over the top. Place it in the hot oven. Bake until the potatoes feel soft.
  • Brown the Top: Remove the foil at the end. Add more cheese on top. Bake until it looks golden brown.
