Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Grease mini muffin tin thoroughly.
  • Mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt.
  • Whisk buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, honey separately.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients gently.
  • Don't overmix the batter.
  • Fill muffin cups three-quarters full.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter with honey.
  • Add pinch salt to glaze.
  • Brush warm poppers with honey butter.
  • Cool on wire rack completely.
