Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 container 8 oz whipped topping
  • 4 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1 box vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1/2 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Mix milk and pudding according to package directions.
  • Fold whipped topping into prepared pudding gently.
  • Process freeze-dried strawberries until they become fine powder.
  • Combine strawberry powder with wafer crumbs and sugar.
  • Add melted butter to strawberry mixture thoroughly.
  • Layer half the wafers in baking dish.
  • Add half the sliced bananas over wafers.
  • Spread half the pudding mixture over bananas.
  • Repeat layers once more completely.
  • Top with strawberry crunch mixture evenly.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  1. Use very ripe bananas for the best sweet flavor
  2. Chill all ingredients beforehand for easier mixing process
  3. Make strawberry crunch just before serving for maximum crunch
  4. Cover tightly to prevent pudding from forming skin
