Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups garlic cloves peeled
  • 1 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Peel the garlic and rinse with cold water.
  • Boil water in a pot and add the garlic for one minute.
  • Drain the garlic and let it cool.
  • In a pot, heat rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and salt.
  • Stir until the sugar melts.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool a little.
  • Put garlic in a clean glass jar.
  • Pour the pickling liquid over the garlic.
  • Add chili flakes if you like spicy food.
  • Close the jar tightly and put it in the fridge.
  • Let it sit for at least one week before eating.
