Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 medium orange unpeeled and cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts optional

Instructions
 

  • Wash the cranberries and dry them.
  • Cut the orange into small pieces.
  • Remove any seeds from the orange.
  • Put the cranberries and orange pieces in a food processor.
  • Blend until finely chopped but not smooth.
  • Move the mix to a bowl.
  • Add sugar, salt, and orange zest.
  • Stir everything together.
  • Let it sit for 30 minutes to blend flavors.
  • Add walnuts if you like and mix again.
  • Serve cold or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use fresh cranberries for the best taste.
  • Add more or less sugar to your liking.
  • Let it sit to make the flavors stronger.
  • A little cinnamon makes it warm and tasty.
  • Keep it in the fridge for up to three days.
