Ingredients

  • Pumpkin puree = 1 15 oz. can
  • Evaporated milk = 1 12 oz. can
  • Granulated sugar = 1½ cups
  • Ground cinnamon = 1 tsp
  • Ground nutmeg = ½ tsp
  • Yellow cake mix = 1 15.25 oz. box
  • Salt = ¼ tsp

Instructions
 

  • Set the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Combine pumpkin puree and evaporated milk in a large bowl.
  • Add eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Whisk the mixture until smooth.
  • Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly in the dish.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix evenly on top.
  • Layer chopped pecans over the cake mix.
  • Drizzle melted butter evenly over everything.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes until it’s golden and set.
  • Let it cool a bit before serving.
