- 1 cup warm milk not too hot
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons dry yeast
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter for brushing
Mix warm milk and sugar in a bowl.
Add the yeast. Wait 10 minutes for it to bubble.
Add melted butter and the egg. Mix well.
Add flour and salt slowly. Stir until it forms dough.
Knead the dough for 8 to 10 minutes.
Put dough in a greased bowl. Cover it to rise.
Wait about 1 hour until dough gets bigger.
Press down dough. Make 15 small dough balls.
Place them on a greased baking tray.
Cover them and wait 30 more minutes.
Heat the oven to 375°F during this time.
Bake the rolls for 15–18 minutes until golden.
Brush warm rolls with butter. Serve right away!
