  • Olive oil = 2 tablespoons
  • Red wine vinegar = 1 tablespoon
  • Salt = To taste
  • Black pepper = To taste

Instructions
 

  • Mince garlic into small pieces.
  • Open the tomato cans. Crush the tomatoes if whole.
  • Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic to the oil and stir gently.
  • Cook garlic for 1-2 minutes until it smells fragrant.
  • Add crushed tomatoes to the pot and mix well.
  • Stir in oregano, basil, sugar, and red wine vinegar.
  • Add salt and black pepper according to your taste.
  • Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer gently.
  • Stir occasionally to stop the sauce from sticking.
  • Simmer for 30 minutes to develop a rich flavor.
  • Adjust thickness by adding water or cooking longer if needed.
  • Cool the sauce to room temperature before storing.
  • Store in containers. Refrigerate for a week or freeze for months.
  • Use the sauce on pizza or in your favorite dishes.
